The Friendly Landlord Network works with a number of partner organizations throughout Metro Vancouver and Whistler to support you in your housing search and provide on-going tenancy support. You can contact them directly to get set up with a username and password, or you can register to search for housing through the form below. If you’re not working with any of these organizations, enter "None" and we’ll be in touch.

Am I Eligible to be a Tenant?

The Friendly Landlord Network is for youth and families aged 18 or older ‘from care’. "Care" is defined as having experienced foster homes, group homes, kith and kin placements, child and youth mental health services, addiction facilities, custody centres, youth agreements, independent living, extended family placements, and/or receiving services through Community Living BC. Sign up through one of our community partner organizations or inquire using the form above.

Although an effort is made to screen landlords, the Friendly Landlord Network does not endorse landlords and all normal precautions and considerations should be taken into account when considering any rental unit. All leases entered into are subject to tenancy laws. Our Friendly Landlord Coordinator is available to review tenancy agreements and facilitate proper paperwork being completed prior to occupancy.
